OUR STORY

We’re siblings from Kennewick, Washington, with a shared love for creativity, problem-solving, and the ever-evolving world of marketing. With backgrounds in design—one specializing in UI/UX, the other in digital marketing—we’ve spent years honing our skills and helping businesses bring their ideas to life.

Growing up in our family’s bike shop made us little entrepreneurs. Fixing and selling bikes taught us the fundamentals of business—marketing, sales, and the value of hard work. But beyond the shop, adventure was a way of life. Mountain biking, camping, and road trips in our old brown Chevy van fueled our creativity and shaped how we see the world.

Sidehack bikes racing down the street. Cherry trees lining the driveway. Metal detecting, rock hunting, and fishing along the river. Campfires, pocket knives, and endless games of Nintendo. These aren’t just childhood memories—they’re the foundation of how we approach branding and web design: hands-on, a little scrappy, and always built for exploration.

To us, marketing isn’t just about ads and aesthetics—it’s about connection. It’s about telling a brand’s story in a way that resonates. We believe in building real relationships, making an impact, and having some fun along the way.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to empower small to medium-sized businesses to achieve their goals while keeping things fun, fresh, and focused on creativity. We believe in bringing joy to the work we do, sharing happiness with our customers, and helping turn ideas into reality. Every project is a chance to explore new ideas, celebrate the unique stories of each business, and create something meaningful together. We’re here to be a reliable partner, offering the skills and support our clients need to succeed, all while making the journey as enjoyable and inspiring as the destination.

OUR NAME

Half Acre was the name of a dusty old gas station, a mile from home in Finley, Washington. Inside, the shelves were stocked with Nik-L-Nip wax bottles, Necco wafers, Black Jack gum, and pink gum cigars, which our parents frowned upon. My siblings and I would pedal our bikes down that long stretch of road, drawn by the thought of treats and a taste of freedom.

Finley was dotted with small half-acre plots, each a place for families to work, to grow, to make something of their own. Those small pieces of land have always been enough—a space to till, to build a life, a future. Just waiting for someone with the grit to turn it into something real.

In the old days, they'd give families a plot like that—a stretch of land just big enough to grow what they needed, to plant seeds and watch them take root. An acre was what an ox could plow in a day, so a half-acre was manageable by hand—a space to raise a few animals, a garden, a home. For those who took it on, it was more than dirt. It was possibility. A chance to build, to live close to the land, to watch things grow, and to feel that quiet pride of making something your own.
